My Project
With this project, I will be able to supply my students with five books throughout the year. I will begin with "The Night Before First Grade" to give a copy to each child at Meet the Teacher and end with "Second Grade Here I Come!".
Besides Meet the Teacher and the End of the Year, my students will also have the opportunity to receive several "Little Spot of..." books.
They will receive "A Little Spot of Celebration" on their birthday, "A Little Spot of Love on Valentine's Day" for Valentine's Day and "Scribble Stones" when we have our annual "March for Peace."
These books will reinforce celebration and character traits throughout the year.
By the end of the year, each child will be able to create a little library of their own. This will encourage reading at home with their family members, too.
The box set of "A Little Spot of Emotions 1-8" will be a wonderful addition to my class library for students for many years to come to enjoy.
