This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our 8th graders are in the home stretch of their time at Great Lakes Academy! The last month of school is filled with big assessments that serve as a way for kids to prove that they have reached grade level, or exceeded it, before heading to high school! To incentivize students to have a strong end to the school year, and celebrate all of their success, I am looking to raffle off prizes for students who reach high academic achievement during this testing season. These are BIG tests so they deserve BIG rewards!
