Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are firm believers that children become super motived to work hard, be motivated​, make good decisions, and be better citizens when they can earn incentives and rewards in the classroom for their actions. These incentives give our students immediate positive reinforcement. In our school library, we celebrate a secret student each time a class visits! This secret student is able to be a positive role model for so many of the other peers and is rewarded by diving into the prize box to receive different toys, stuffy's, fidgets, and so many more choices!

These prizes are simple and fun ways to reward and reinforce positive behavior in our classroom.

As their actions get recognized, students feel a sense of accomplishment and build self-esteem. The more the children strive to earn these rewards, the more automatic these positive behaviors become. Please help us celebrate positive behavior and encourage more motivation in our library!
