Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project has different features all around. I want to work on changing my classroom environment. I want to go from bright and colorful to more calming colors. I also want it to feel more welcoming and comforting for the students. Since I work with pre-k, it's the majority of their first school experience. I want my classroom to feel like home away from home. The decorations and furniture will do just that as well as allow for more flexible seating.

Classroom environment is everything, but so are learning resources.

The manipulatives and learning resource toys will help enhance my lessons for the new beginners that enter my classroom. Please help us get our project funded!
