My Students

My music-filled, kindness-centered classroom is filled with phenomenal, special needs students who are inquisitive, caring and hardworking scholars! Every day, we learn world geography, STEM and reading skills through virtual wildlife adventures, community gardening, classroom cooking, engaging play, positive communication, healthy socialization and problem-solving.

My Project

To help our spectacularly phenomenal learners become informed and inclusive global citizens, we work hard to plan engaging activities for most major cultural and religious holidays around the world.

We are celebrating Lunar New Year, Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras, St.

Patrick's Day, and Easter throughout the rest of this school year and our project contains holiday decorations and activites to help us learn more about them!

Our project will provide students positive learning experiences with lessons that will last a lifetime! By providing geographical culinary resources, hands-on crafts and interactive activities, our spectacular students will learn about world geography, cultural histories and fascinating customs. We will be able to make cresent-shaped cookies for Ramadan and Eid; distribute red gift envelopes for Lunar New Year; decorate Mardi Gras picture frames with our class's homemade mini-floats; share Valentine treats with classmates while creating Valentine crafts and playing Valentine Bingo; create St. Patrick's Day crafts while learning about St. Patrick's Day; and decorate Spring crafts and hide Easter eggs while learning about global Easter traditions. Plus, we've included 2 wall-sized maps to study each festivity's various geographical locations.
