Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our school are so special and amazing. Many of them are so curious not only about the Spanish language but also about the culture. For Hispanic Heritage Month, a few of us teachers are getting together to create events where students can learn more about the history and culture of each Spanish speaking country. We have an arts and craft day set up where we will create different projects and decorations to showcase around the school. We have a big event where every single student at our school will be able to soak in the richness of the culture through music, dance, and traditional clothing. We would love to have our Hispanic students hold up their flags and walk around the event.

These supplies will help educate everyone in our school about the Hispanic culture and allow our Hispanic students to showcase where they are from as well.
