Students will learn how to research about Spanish speaking countries and the culture of these countries. They will be able to compare and contrast their culture with other cultures. Not only will they be learners, but they will be able to teach their family members and others in their community about Hispanic culture with the posters created and the flags made. Students will also make "papel picado" and learn the part it plays in Mexican culture, especially for Día de los Muertos. Once they have learned how to create this craft, they will be able to teach others and use it in the future for themselves.
