My Project
I teach a curious group of third graders who come to school each day ready to learn, grow, and support one another. They are a diverse group of learners who thrive on hands-on activities, creative projects, and positive recognition. Our classroom is a space full of laughter, teamwork, and discovery, and I strive to make it a place where each student feels seen, celebrated, and excited to learn.
This project brings together tools that will support my students’ academic success, social-emotional growth, and classroom engagement throughout the year.
To celebrate their hard work, I am requesting award ribbons and stickers that we can use for our quarterly recognition ceremonies. To keep our learning environment clean and our technology working smoothly, I am asking for disinfecting wipes to clean our Chromebooks regularly. I’m also requesting craft supplies, playdough tools, and a game to make our indoor recess time more fun and creative. These materials help build friendships, imagination, and fine motor skills. I’m also requesting zippered pouches that students can use to easily grab and go with activities during free time or recess, as well as two books continue nurturing a love of reading and shared discussion.
Finally, math is a huge part of our third-grade year, especially as we dive into multiplication and fractions. I am requesting multiplication write-and-wipe boards, multiplication dominoes, a fractions activity center, and fraction number line boards. These interactive tools will provide the kind of visual and hands-on learning my students need to grasp these foundational concepts.
Each item in this project supports a piece of our classroom puzzle—academic rigor, social-emotional development, engagement, and joy. With your support, I can continue to create a learning environment where students feel proud of their accomplishments, excited to learn, and empowered to succeed.
