My Project

Our fifth graders are the most amazing, caring individuals! We have just finished spending four days at Outdoor School, bonding and learning so much information about Science. Being together and building our classroom and grade level community, we recognized the importance of giving back to our community.

Help me give my students socks, Santa hats, and candy canes to help them celebrate our local elderly in a nursing home by gifting them a cozy pair of socks and a festive candy cane holiday gift for Christmas.

We are hoping that by gifting our local nursing home with a pair of cozy socks and a festive candy cane, we will be able to teach them the power of giving back!

Our school motto is CHOOSE KIND and we want our students to be examples of that not only in our own class, grade, school, but also throughout our community! We want our students to recognize how much they are given and to feel the satisfaction of giving to others.
