This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we believe that celebrating diversity is essential to fostering a sense of belonging, empathy, and understanding from an early age. We are seeking your support to fund a diversity project that includes toys, materials, and resources that represent a variety of races, cultures, and abilities.
With your generous contribution, we will be able to provide our students with diverse dolls, books, puzzles, Lakeshore Block Play People and other learning materials that reflect the world around them.
These resources will allow our preschoolers to see themselves in the world, while also learning about and appreciating the uniqueness of others.
Our goal is to create a space where children not only enjoy learning but also develop respect for differences. By playing and exploring with diverse materials, they will gain important social and emotional skills that will help them build empathy and strengthen their understanding of the beautiful variety of people in our world.
Your support will make a lasting impact on our young learners and help create an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and celebrated.
Thank you for considering a donation to support this important project!
