Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help us transform our library into a dynamic, inclusive space that celebrates the diversity of our community. We are seeking help in acquiring decorations and posters to adorn our library and hallway throughout the school year.
We want to showcase that we value diversity and inclusivity.
We want to incorporate decorations and posters that inspire and fosters an environment of understanding, respect and appreciation for everyone. Visual representation of diversity/inclusivity is a great educational tool that allow for conversations to flow about histories, traditions and contributions. It will also serve as a reinforcement to students that we see them and that we hope they feel supported and valued.
