Celebrating Diverse Classroom Artists!

Help me give my students drawing sketchbooks, color ink, and a variety of beads for projects!

My Project

With Black History month and diversity being a focus, my classroom community is planning a celebration of our classroom artists. The sketchbooks will be used for my classes to create initial drawings and sketches, along with possible ideas of creations. The condiment cups will be used for liquid tempera paint and watercolors. The diversity of students will be represented in the diversity of materials and mediums. Tissue paper, facial tissues and even perler/pony beads will be utilized by the students to be imaginative in creations and art projects! The pegboards will be used to not only create the art with beads, but use to display for others to see. The fans and garland will adorn their creations as school staff and other students admire their creations. The requested ink will help the students print off inspirational pictures and used within the sketchbooks when needed. I have asked for Lysol wipes to clean off areas and ensure cleanliness.

The showcasing of student projects and diverse perspectives is important to me in representing the beautiful diversity within my art classroom communities!
