I truly work with amazing students on a daily basis. These dancers are all extremely motivated with a strong work ethic. Dance is a very cultural thing in our community and the dancers are experienced and dedicated. They understand the hard work and dedication it takes to improve and reach their specific dance goals.
Some students, on the other hand, would not have the opportunity to dance if it wasn't for the dance program at the Middle School.
I am so grateful to have this program for them to experience dance as an art form.
These dancers are committed to the dance program and work consistently to make the program strong and respected. Most of these students will go on and dance in high school and want careers and a degree in dance. They take their talent very seriously and feel it is a privilege to dance at the Middle School.
The dancers create the dances they perform in the recital. They are very involved with the creative process and concerned with how it will look on stage. So having these beautiful kimonos will help them shine on stage adding to their performance experience as a whole.
My Project
Dancers have created a beautiful Asian influenced dance and need a costume to best represent the culture, movement, music, and theme.
Dancers will use these costumes in their end of year concert in May.
They will do this dance in front of the entire school in 2 assemblies and in a nighttime performance.
The dancers feel that these costumes will be easy for them to dance in and these costumes can easily be used again in other dances. They are beautiful and very economical. I have looked high and low for cheap, nice costumes. Amazon is very reasonably priced!
