Celebrating Black Stories

My Project

It is Black History Month! For the month of February, students must study African American luminaries and prepare speech on that individual at the end of the month.Through these books, our students can find comfort and encouragement from the stories of African American luminaries. These texts will also push students to think of what impact they will make on the world. The graphic novels will help students dissect the books in a more approachable way. Also, they will have multiple stories of triumph to read about through these collections. Please help us fill our class library with these great works.
