Help me give my students a small recognition for earning good grades. We celebrate them during awards ceremony and would like to give them a small treat bag (water, cookies, crayons, snack) as a special treat.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students work hard to accomplish their goals and aim to earn high grade point average. I like to celebrate their success by recognizing them during awards ceremony and giving them a small goodie bag (a water bottle, a fruit snack, a pencil/crayon). There's something about receiving a goodie bag that students love, It's the surprise to see what's inside the bag. They go to class feeling motivated and happy knowing their hard work gets recognized. Some eat their snack right away, and others like to carry their bag a little longer. Other students also get to see and ask "what's in the bag?". It's nice to hear when they say "I got it because I have good grades."
