My Project

When you take a peek at my classroom, you will see eager faces, ready to learn.

You will see students who enjoy sharing laughter with their peers, putting their problem-solving skills to use with STEAM activities, creating artwork, and playing with their friends.

I have many students in my class who celebrate Lunar New Year. I am asking for the book Lunar New Year (Celebrate the World to begin our study of this celebration. I am also asking for hula hoops and playground balls so that we can play the game Prosperity Toss. In this game students will toss a ball into a hula hoop, trying to get the ball to stay in the hula hoop.. Each successful toss can symbolize good fortune for the year ahead!

I know my students will love playing this game to celebrate the Lunar New Year as we learn more about the cultures represented in our classroom.
