Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a committed National Board Certified Education Specialist in a high school setting. Our Title I school serves a diverse group of students, and I am inspired by their determination as they face social, emotional, and academic challenges. In my Community-Based Instruction (CBI) class, we've engaged in activities such as joining the yearbook staff, participating in school events, volunteering in the community, and serving on the Associated Student Body (ASB). My students excel in movement and hands-on experiences, and I am honored to be their teacher, encouraging them to exceed their highest expectations.

As the new semester begins, it's an opportunity to learn and celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The bluetooth speaker will allow me to share music. The purpose of Lunar New Year music is to create a festive atmosphere, share joyful sounds, foster family unity, and express hopes for prosperity, renewal, and good fortune in the new year. We will use the ink cartridges to print banners that create a festive atmosphere.

The Lunar New Year incentives; such as the socks, rainbow notebooks and pens, will help to spread good fortune, foster community/family bonds, and providing wellness/prosperity-themed gifts. Thank you for providing the supplies to celebrate the new year. I am grateful for your support.
