Celebrate the Lunar New Year

Help me give my students A Lunar New Year celebration items and books.

My Project

I would love to add in a little treat for the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year. I would love to have some of my students (who celebrate at home) explain what their traditions are, if they are comfortable with educating all of my classes. My own students make the best educators about their customs from home. This would be a perfect way for them to share and educate others.

Lunar New Year treats would be a nice way to talk about the traditions and help us celebrate.

Special coins, fortune cookies, lucky candy, envelopes and more will help us celebrate the year of the rabbit (2023). The two Lunar New Year sets can be put together after school, by some students who express interest. 12 can participate so they can take home a tradition Lego scene (6 in each kit). We can all use a little luck, love, and education about traditions and customs from our classmates.
