Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is located in a low-income community in Pacoima, California. Although our school supplies much to our students and families, additional supplies are needed. Therefore, I purchase many necessary items for my class.

Despite their struggles, students always come to school eager and excited to learn.

Many of our students come from challenging backgrounds; however, they come to school each day full of energy. They are always excited to learn something new. I am always looking for ways to keep my students excited and engaged in learning, and I need partners like you to make it happen!

My Project

Holidays and school events are special for primary students. I want to be able to provide students with crafts for the upcoming holidays. My students always look forward to the fun and engaging celebrations we have at our school.

These supplies will not only foster creativity in my students, but they will also help to engage and excite them to come to school.

Special events always excite my little first graders and having these crafts and supplies would put such a big smile on their faces. Help me make these days as special as they can be.
