Ash has been an emblem of perseverance, courage, and friendship for generations of children, and his retirement marks the end of an era. We propose a celebratory event during library classes to honor Ash's legacy, engage students in reading activities, and foster a love for literature that extends beyond the pages of their favorite Pokemon adventures.
Goals for the Project:
Promote Reading Engagement: By centering our event around the retirement of Ash, we aim to capture the attention of students who are passionate about Pokemon and leverage that enthusiasm to encourage reading.
Foster Community Spirit: This event will not only celebrate Ash's retirement but also foster a sense of community among students, educators, and families who share a common love for reading and Pokemon.
Specific Items Requested:
Books Featuring Pokemon: We request funding to purchase a variety of Pokemon books. These books will be made available to students in our school library, ensuring easy access for all.
Themed Decorations and Supplies: To create an immersive experience, we request funding for themed decorations such as banners, and table centerpieces featuring Ash and other iconic Pokemon characters. Additionally, supplies for interactive activities, such as craft materials for creating Pokemon-themed bookmarks, will be needed.
