Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students with high averages and most improved will be recognized at our Senior Awards Assembly. Each recipient will receive a framed certificate, leather journal and personalized tumbler.

This project will allow the History Department to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of graduating seniors in each History Course and provide them with a small gift at our Senior Awards Assembly.

Our goal is to recognize students hard work and encourage students to continue to strive for greatness beyond high school. Many of our students come from low-income households, and many students struggle to graduate. These awards are a small token to celebrate their success.
