This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to request funding in support of our ceramic arts program at our High School. Our program aims to provide students with opportunities to explore their creativity, develop technical skills, and use art to express social issues. With your support, we hope to enhance our curriculum by integrating technology into the ceramic process so students can use their art to address social issues such as conservation and climate change.

We are requesting funding to acquire a “Cricut” crafting machine, along with the necessary accessories, to create stencils that will enhance design concepts.

This innovative technology will allow our students to explore new avenues of creativity and expand their artistic capabilities. By incorporating the Cricut machine into our curriculum, students will have the opportunity to seamlessly integrate digital design techniques with traditional ceramic craftsmanship.

The Cricut machine will enable our students to produce intricate and precise stencils of their original designs that can be used to enhance their artwork.

By integrating the Cricut machine into our ceramic arts program, we aim to achieve the following objectives:

Empower students to explore innovative design techniques through technology.

Provide students with hands-on experience in digital fabrication and ceramic design.

Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.

Enhance the quality and sophistication of student artwork by incorporating intricate surface designs.

Prepare students for future academic and professional opportunities in the fields of art and design.

The requested funds will be used to purchase a Cricut crafting machine, various accessories such as cutting mats, blades, and specialty materials.

Your support in funding this initiative would be greatly appreciated and would have a profound impact on the artistic development of our students.
