This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

2023 is so exciting! I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten! One of the best parts of our year together is learning how to read! I am asking for donations of phonemic awareness centers to help build a strong foundation for reading and to make learning to read fun and easy. I am hoping for this with these centers to build phonemic awareness. This is the ability to understand that spoken words are made up of individual sounds called phonemes, and it’s one of the best early predictors of reading success.

With these centers, my students will practice hearing sounds and putting letters to the sounds.

CVC Word Builder, Match It! - Letters - 20 Piece Self-Correcting Spelling Puzzles for Three Letter Words and Phonics Games Flash Cards, will build a strong foundation for reading and will be beneficial for my English language learners. Please consider contributing to my students' success in reading.
