This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a great group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade kiddos. We have a soccer team at our school which we will play other local schools in our community. They are very respectful kids and always do their best to keep up their grades never miss a practice. Our equipment is out dated, I think the kids would be very excited to have new equipment this year. My student's are very community involved as well. Our soccer team will be doing many community volunteer projects in the local area. They are just a great group of kids to work with. Our season starts in March, but we have already started training to get in shape.

My Project

These materials will help my students improve their soccer skills when we practice. Many of my students love to play soccer and it helps motivate them to be on their best behavior in class and keep their grades up, so they are able to participate in soccer. We have spring season, but we practice the whole school year. We even have a soccer club we do over the summer where the kids can come practice there soccer skills a few hours a day. These materials will help students improve not only at soccer practice, but will motivate them to do well in the classroom so that they are able to participate in soccer. We will also do virtual drills on line for those students at home.
