This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are starting to prepare for our final (and favorite) unit of the school year here in our inclusion pre-k classroom - insects! Each year the students love this unit and are so excited to learn more. Through DonorsChoose, I have been able to provide this hands on experience for my students the past two years.

I am hoping that through this project we will be able to give students the experience of observing the live butterfly lifecycle in our classroom!

This will truly bring our unit to life and encourage our students' curiosity and scientific inquiry skills. I would like to use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to add crafts, visuals, activities, and supplemental resources to this unit.
