Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the arrival of spring, I think it would be an excellent opportunity to bring some learning and excitement into the classroom. It would be an absolute thrill for my students to watch the life of a butterfly right in our classroom.

We would love to have a butterfly kit and activity books to make this a reality.

Students will get a first hand look at the process. Each day they will note in their activity journals any progress that they see. Finally, we will release our butterflies in the school garden.

I know this will be a wonderful learning experience for my scholars.
