Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from different ethnic backgrounds and many students in my school have just recently arrive from Central and South America with less things than you can imagine. However, they are EXCITED to be here learning and making memories in a new school.
The donations to this project will help to catch and bring their cherished moments from school to their families.
It will allow students to have open conversation with their families while families get to learn about their child's school and education. Not only that those photos will be cherished as this is their first school in the states for these students.
The photos will be used to develop students' oral and written language as these photos will be more meaningful and exciting for my students than the pictures I find online. Not only that, I'm hoping to get this project funded before this school year is over so I can create an album with my lower grade students for our graduating 5th grade students. Things I can do with my students if this project is funded are endless! Yet, I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thank you!
