Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are a charter high school, located in a low income, poverty stricken, disadvantaged community. While our school has some great features, such as three new student labs (Engineering/STEM, Coding, and Ag-Bio), our athletic department needs some assistance.

The joy the students display when they compete in sports is amazing.

They are competitive, show courage, resilience, and love for each other. This project will help provide gloves for every student to have and use during games and practices.

While the season has begun, we are still seeking required equipment to finish the season strong and with confidence. These gloves will be the help the players need to finish the year strong.
