This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school library provides our students with opportunities for exploration, creativity, and intellectual growth. As the librarian, I strive to maintain a collection that is engaging, inclusive, and that caters to our scholars’ interests. However, for library users to find what they need, adequate signage and visual aids are crucial. Due to budget constraints, signage and other may are currently printed only in Black and White. A color printer would allow us to produce signage, visual aids, and other educational materials that are vibrant, attractive, and eye-catching, therefore facilitating access to the materials our patrons need.
