My Project
I would love to give my students the opportunity to build a gingerbread house to successfully catch a gingerbread man. This STEM challenge is inspired by the book "How to Catch a Gingerbread Man." During our last day before winter break, I plan on presenting this challenge, and my students will have to work together to plan, design, and engineer their very own "house" to trap a gingerbread man.
This STEM activity will be paired with multiple comprehension activities to keep my class engaged.
My students will each receive their own copy of the book, "How to Catch a Gingerbread Man", which will allow me to incorporate cross-curricular activities throughout the project.
