Help me give my students foam discs, scoop ball sets, and mini soccer balls so they have the physical education equipment they need to stay active, healthy, and to build their ability to work in teams.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are active little learners who are part of a Spanish dual language program where they learn new words, math concepts, team sports and camaraderie.
My energetic second grader students come to the classroom ready to explore, discover, create, and tackle the challenge of acquiring new knowledge in an engaging manner through literature, language, and drama, and physical activity.
They eagerly read books in two languages, write, draw, dramatize new vocabulary words, learn new math concepts, and develop their motor skills throughout the day.
They beam with joy as they learn new skills in and out of the classroom. They love to learn and play!
My Project
This equipment will help my students stay active and healthy. Soccer balls, lacrosse sets, and frisbees will allow my students to engage in physical activity and support them to develop strength, endurance, and discipline.
Sports are a great way to decrease anxiety, boost self-esteem, and support my students' socio-emotional well being.
The soccer balls will allow my students to fine tune their body coordination while developing their strategic and cooperative skills. Additionally, the scoop ball sets and frisbees will support their hand-eye coordination and communication skills as they work with their peers to succeed in the games.
This equipment will support my students in strengthening their peer relations, reduce anxiety, boots self-esteem, and improve academic focus and success.
