This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are steadily increasing the amount of Probability and Statistics taught at Alvarez as we become more and more involved in Data Science. Our students generally come to the high school level lacking some foundational mathematical concepts, and nowhere is the need to help with this more obvious than in the area of Statistics.
We are going to build a Probability and Statistics Casino here at Alvarez, to jump start the much needed increase in math skills required to study Data Science.
Please help us build Casino Roy-Alvarez, where students will compete for prizes and learn all about statistics, probability, and how they govern events in the world around us.
