Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am trying something new to have a new take on teaching financial literacy to my students. I started giving out money as a reward.
Students can earn their money based on behavior, showing kindness, and turning in exemplary work!
There are all kinds of ways that students can earn their money. They can also lose their money if they aren't making good choices. This gives them the incentive to continue making positive choices and trying to work hard on their school work. Each month I will open up the store and in the final month of school we will practice saving up or purchasing bigger, nicer items.
