My Project
The school year is halfway over, and my first graders are comfortable with routines and procedures. They are proud to be in first grade and I would love for table groups to have their own rolling cart of supplies. It is that time of the school year and they are given more responsibility to get ready for second grade.
Staying organized is a large part of a busy classroom and this is why having a 10-drawer cart right next to my intervention area will help me with this.
The drawers are shallow which allows me to keep small materials at hand that are needed to help my students succeed. While I stay organized so will the students with their table groups. Each of the three tiers of their carts will have a different supply/ material. We will use them for math tool kits, readers, dry erase boards, markers, and erasers. The students will learn to be organized instead of jamming everything in their desks.
