Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are all talented, highly motivated and driven young ladies. Track & Field is a competitive sport that is year around, which requires hard work and dedication. As a team, all students come together with each of their athletic talents and abilities to compete. In order for students to successfully compete, they will need various resources to help improve in areas of conditioning, speed, strength, and traveling supplies.
As talented and goal driven these young lady athletes are, we are within an inner-city school with limited resources.
The resources that are needed will maximize their potential, to become more successful to compete with the top athletes in the state and build confidence.
My Project
The resources chosen are backpacks that are needed to travel for students who are Track and Field athletes. The backpacks will help aid our young lady athletes in preparation, as they compete in this seasons track meets. Various supplies and gear will be carried to track meets.
As talented and goal driven as these young lady athletes are, we are within an inner-city school with limited resources.
Our student-athletes will be competing with some of the top athletes in the state and are just as talented. The requested backpacks are needed to allow athletes to carry all the necessary supplies towards their goals and successful future in Track in Field.
