This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students need to love their learning environment. This carpet would help them feel invited and welcome to the classroom.

My students will be wonderful and will develop a love for school and learning.

They will love to learn their letters, numbers, reading, math and creative writing! We will develop their foundational skills so that they can become excellent students in their future!

My Project

My students will use this awesome carpet to sit and listen to read alouds. They will participate in daily morning routines that include the calendar, days of school and weather! They will also learn new math concepts and writing skills to prepare for the future.

This carpet will improve the environment of the classroom.

It will make it more inviting and welcoming to the students. The numbers and letters on the carpet will help to enrich their learning.
