This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need a comfortable place to sit during whole group lesson. When they are sitting at their desk they get distracted easily. On the carpet they only have the materials they need, they are close to the board and can easily focus.

Participating in whole group discussions, listening to stories, and being actively engaged in the lesson makes all the difference.

Students need an area designated for learning and working. Unfortunately when COVID hit the classroom carpets were the first things to be put into storage. Now that we can finally bring them back in the classroom, they are not in the best condition. Our students deserve the best.
