Carpet Time: Let's Get Together

Help me give my students a carpet for circle time. Besides having a place to meet for read alouds, class discussions, and lessons, my students will be using this space to play puzzles, games, and building activities.

My Project

Circle Time is important in kindergarten, and we need a carpet to meet on. Having a carpet area allows us to be together and participate in singing, reading, and having class discussions. We like having the option of sitting on the floor when we are reading books, writing, or working in small groups. In kindergarten, we learn through play, and we love having a space to sit comfortably to play with puzzles, games, and building activities. It is a space that is just as imporant to us as our work tables. It allows us to interact with one another in a very natural and comfortable way.
