This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during our story time, independent reading, and whole group lessons. My students need a cozy carpet to invite them to learn. We spend most of our day on the floor and my students would love to have a comfy space of their own while they take on the learning challenges of 4th Grade.
Having this classroom rug will allow my students to stay focused on their learning instead of worrying about where and what they are sitting on.
Minimizing distractions and increasing their focus is optimal for helping kindergarteners learn and grow.
