Help me give my students a carpet to sit on the floor for phonics instruction. We also need some lap desks to use for writing and for partner collaboration on the carpet.
My students and I need a carpet for our English as a New Language classroom. Currently all we have are tables and this year I'll be working specifically with grades kindergarten through second grade and they love the flexibility of sitting on a carpet for at least part of a lesson.
They would love to have this carpet and these lap desks for their phonics lessons.
It would allow them to sit closer to the screen to see the slides. It would also allow for more flexible groupings for partner work.
My students come from approximately 12 different countries in Africa, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. They love to learn and I would love to provide them with the ability to switch up lessons with movement between carpet time, lap desk time, and table work time.
