Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of this rug will provide a space where my students will come together in the classroom as a community to learn daily. My current classroom does not have a carpet or rug for students to gather together, so I would like to provide the students with this opportunity to create a community. Students often learn better with being able to talk to one another and having the chance to collaborate.
We will use this space to learn math, language arts, social emotional learning and much more.
By having this carpet, it allows the students to have a center space in the classroom to come together.
