it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every day, I watch my students' faces light up with curiosity and wonder as they discover new worlds through books. These remarkable young learners bring such joy and enthusiasm to our classroom, and their eagerness to explore stories together during circle time fills my heart with pride. Currently, our reading circle takes place on the hard classroom floor, which can be uncomfortable and distracting for little ones trying to focus on our shared literary adventures.
Your generous contribution toward purchasing a soft, colorful carpet for our reading circle will create a warm, inviting space where my students can gather comfortably to dive into stories, participate in discussions, and develop their love of reading.
This simple addition will transform our circle time into an even more engaging experience, helping these wonderful children build stronger literacy skills while feeling cozy and focused. When students are comfortable, they learn better, participate more actively, and develop deeper connections to the stories we share together.
