Every day, my students come into the classroom ready to tackle the day. They are always wanting to know what they will be learning about. They are an enthusiastic group and love technology. Working on the computer motivates them!
I have been teaching at my school for 15 years.
It is a Title 1 school, with over 70% of the student population receiving free or reduced lunch. It has a high ELL and SpEd population. The school is located in a very low socioeconomic neighborhood. These kids deserve the very best and I do my best everyday to give them a high quality education filled with memorable experiences. Many of my students come from low-income families. Their lives out of school do not come with many experiences. Many come to school with little understanding of what our world has to offer them. As their teacher, I always want them to know that our classroom will be a safe and happy environment. I want them to have learning experiences that excite them and encourage them to love learning. It is my wish that they leave my class excited about learning.
This carpet will provide a comfortable learning place for the students! We use a carpet for many reasons. Many of our lessons take place on the carpet. We use it for read aloud time. The students also like to sit/lay on the carpet during independent reading time.
The carpet provides an inviting and comfortable place for the students when doing their learning.
The carpet will make a big difference for my students. It brings warmth to the room. My students spend many hours in the classroom and providing them with warmth and comfort means a lot to them and me.
