My Students
My first grade students are a group that loves to learn! They are so inquisitive and amazed at new things. These students ask questions and push themselves to learn more about their topics.
These students love hands-on activities!
They learn so much by seeing and doing. They are excited to try and discover new things.
I enjoy working with these students. They exemplify kindness, caring, and perseverance. These students support one another and are anxious to help each other out. They help me want to learn more as well!
My Project
The students in my classroom use the carpet on a daily basis. It is a comfortable area for quiet reading and a great tool for gathering the class for sharing and Morning Meetings. We sit at our carpet daily for read alouds and students love to work on it. Needless to day, it is an important part of our classroom environment.

This particular item allows individual seating for up to 30 students.
This individual seating will help students stay more focused during circle times, but will also give them a new, comfortable choice for working. This carpet will greatly enhance the classroom learning environment!
