My students are naturally curious about the world around them. However, many of my students were amazed when we pulled vegetables from our raised garden beds. They had never seen vegetables come from the ground before. The grow lamps and planters will help keep plants growing in our classroom all year long. Donations to this project will help my students better understand the needs of plants and how they grow. We will be able to plant seeds, observe and monitor their growth, then see the fully grown vegetables at the end of the cycle. This will help students better understand where their food comes from!
