My Students
I teach students ranging from 9th-12th grade, 60 percent of which come from a taxational agricultural background. My students know what it means to work hard to see the results they desire.
Agriculture has many different avenues, and my students work together to make sure everyone finds a place within the classroom and the industry as a whole.
My students walk in the classroom everyday eager to learn.
My Project
Covid-19 has made a huge impact on how students are learning in their core classes with limited projects that get them out of their seats. However, in agricultural education courses it is important to get students involved in hands-on-real life experiences.
With these tools, students will begin learning the basics of woodworking and eventually build projects that will improve their supervised agricultural experiences.
Not every student plans to attend college but having the chance to learn a life skill in the classroom is something they can take with them as they enter the workforce.
Students will be required to complete a safety test before handling the power tool, as well as create blueprints before using any material in the shop. Each project they begin must have a material list and instructions listed on the board.
