My Project
Throughout the year we discuss social justice issues selected by the students such as: poverty, animal cruelty, abuse, bullying, and hunger. We are requesting snacks, cups, paper and paint.
These are all topics that promote compassion and understanding as the students must research and explain how these issues affect others in a letter to the current President.
Many of the students do not speak English and using the water colors they will create posters on their Social Justice topic. The poster will differentiate the work so all students, no matter what their learning level, can be successful in this project.
