Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our quest to keep our Earth clean, green, and beautiful, we are thrilled to engage our students in a student-led community service activity that emphasizes responsibility. Our beloved classroom turtle serves not only as an educational tool but also as a catalyst for our students to take meaningful action in our local community.
To ensure our classroom turtle thrives and serves as an example of responsible pet ownership, we are requesting essential items such as a basking dock, a high-quality filter, and a UVB light.
These materials will not only enhance our turtle's living space but also provide our students with hands-on learning experiences about wildlife care and conservation. By maintaining a healthy habitat for our turtle, students will be inspired to take pride in caring for both their classroom pet and the local environment.
With your support, we can create a vibrant learning environment that fosters leadership and community engagement. Together, we can inspire our students to take action, benefit our neighborhood, and cultivate a generation of environmentally-conscious leaders dedicated to keeping our planet clean, green, and beautiful!
