My Students
I love my students' tenacity for coming to school to learn despite issues that negatively impact their lives daily. I know that inner strength makes them special. They have fighting spirits and overcome obstacles that most adults cannot. Their sheer determination is what makes me continue to want to teach and hopefully be a positive impact on their lives.
My Project
These books will assist my student with answering questions about careers, teenage issues, and diversity in our world. Young people are facing some challenging times, but my goal is to build their self esteem so that they can begin to plan their careers and lives. Instructors are not able to answer some pressing questions that our students need to have answered. These books will open many doors for them and help with issues that I cannot. I will feel much better knowing that I have offered my students more than just Reading skills. Life skills and mindsets make well-rounded individuals.
