This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are preparing to graduate and transition into the adult world. Within my career exploration/Career planning program, my goal is to help my students develop the skills necessary to overcome the obstacles and challenges that they will encounter as they prepare to enter their careers and community as adults. The resources I requested will support my students learning by enabling them to participate in a safer, more organized, on-campus simulated work environment. The shelves we are requesting will give us an orderly space to store donated items we receive as we prepare to distribute them to the community. The students will work to stock, organize, and clean these shelves.
